Rick says: Any connection to the title of a 1960’s psychedelic classic is purely coincidental, however, after a couple of glasses partaken in a darkened room, whilst smoking a herbal cigarette and simultaneously squinting through your left eye, you might, just might, be able to make out an image on the label of some left-handed, guitar-abusing Seattle-born pyromaniac. It really depends on whether you are experienced in such matters…
Pinot haze refers to our notable (if anonymous) winemaker electing not to sterile filter his wine, believing that his Pinot Noir should retain all its natural components to remain a ‘living being’. So, it is entirely possible that this wine may develop a slightly hazy purple appearance towards the end of time…
